Zeven stuwen in de Vecht. Om de landbouwgronden langs de Vecht het hele jaar door van voldoende water te kunnen voorzien, zijn er tussen 1907 en 1921 zeven stuwen aangelegd: de Haandrik, Ane, Hardenberg, Diffelen, Junne, Vilsteren en Vechterweerd. In 1984 is de stuw in Ane gesloopt, de andere zes zijn nog steeds in gebruik.

Junne. Junne is een zeer oude buurtschap in de gemeente Ommen in de Nederlandse provincie Overijssel. De buurtschap ligt in een bocht van de Vecht. Deze rivier is vanaf de monding bij Zwolle tot de stuw bij Junne bevaarbaar voor schepen.

Then you enter the woods of Junne, further north. Occasionally you come across a small moorland, and even a fen. The last part you walk through the meadows again. There are no facilities on this trail.

De stuw bij Junne is altijd toegankelijk. Er loopt een smalle autoluwe weg overheen. Aan de Zuidzijde van de stuw is parkeerplaats aanwezig. 21 maart 2021. Bert B. We willen een vergelijkbare situatie zoals bij De Haandrik voorkomen.
